I am interested in human movement. I study the biomechanics and motor control of human locomotion, musculoskeletal function and adaptation to various interventions and conditions. In particular human walking (healthy and clinical aspects) and knee joint function after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury has inspired my research. I mainly use biomechanics, motion capture, muscle strength measurement and electromyography to investigate my research questions.

I have my main position as an associate professor at Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Copenhagen and I am Vice Head of Studies for Biomedical Engineering (Medicine and Technology).
