Kersti Holm graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Copenhagen in 2018. Postgraduate she has completed the basic clinical training (KBU) and worked as a clinician at the Department of Internal Medicine, Dermatology and Rheumatology.

Before graduating medical school, Kersti has done research in Dermatology focusing on an imaging technique called Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and non-melanoma skin cancer. Prior her position at the Parker Institute, she has published 4 articles, with 2 first authorships.

Kersti has been enrolled as a PhD student from May 2023 with her project “Phenotyping towards personalized medicine in psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis”. Her project focus on exploring different phenotypes of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis (PsA). It is hypothesized that we through a comprehensive analysis of these groups can provide a more personalized approach to treatment of patients with PsA and or psoriasis, on the road towards personalized medicine.
