Stine Hangaard graduated as MD in 2008 from The University of Copenhagen. In 2006 she finished a pregraduate research study at the Tissue Typing Laboratory, Rigshospitalet. She has always been interested in muscolosceletal diseases and imaging. Post graduate she worked three years in different orthopaedic and spine surgery departments, maily at Bispebjerg Hospital. With special interest in osteoarthritis, replacement surgery and treatment of periprostetic infections. She started her career in radiology in 2013 and is planning to become a radiologist. Stine started working at the Parker Institute in April 2014. Her research focuses on imaging in osteoarthritis. More specifically, about contrast enhanced MRI of cartilage.
