Malene Regitze Bertelsen is a medical doctor, graduated from the University of Copenhagen in 2015.
She has clinical experience from her basic clinical training (KBU) in the department of orthopedic surgery and general practice, first year residence in endocrinology and rheumatology, and the last two years working in different rheumatology departments, going to be specialized as rheumatologist.
She started working at the Parker Institute as a PhD-student the 1. September 2021. Her PhD focuses on knee osteoarthritis and the role of inflammation, calcium crystals and adipokines.
